Didn’t Adapt to New Technology and Then Went Bankrupt.

Is there a common set of behavior that was prevalent in the decisions made
by these companies to refrain from the use of the new technology? If so, what is
that behavior?

Explain thoroughly. Here’s my answer
There are companies that did not adapt to the newest technology and therefore these companies
went bankrupt when the actual time to employ the new technology came and it was found that
the companies were behind technology therefore could not afford the way out and could not even
compete the technologically adapted companies.(Abidi, 2012) In this case the companies went
bankrupt. These companies included Xerox, Borders Books, Blackberry, Yahoo, Polaroid and
Myspace.(Blatt, 2014)
There existed a common behavior and belief in all these companies that never adapted to
technology. The claim was that technology never comes as fast as it had done. That technology is
a series of processes, they also believed that the customers would not shift that fast to the new
technology therefore there was no need of shift to the new technology.( AGRAWAL, 2016)
The lessons learn here include doing a thorough study before making a decision, engaging and
discussing issues when their topics arise, and in this case it is wiser discussing with competitors
and customers so that different views and opinions can be gathered. In the case of decision, it is
important to follow the majority decision to be on the safe side rather than remaining alone in
troubles and problems. Here is the response
