The expectation is that this research paper is written at a 3rd year university level. This is a two person paper, as you will read. You will be doing the first half of it. So I expect the micro part to be finished, as well as the first half of meso, or at least a good chunk of it. Again, this paper is to be written about children living in domestic violence situations. You need to be familiar with the meanings of those three terms and tell me when you bid for this paper. You also need to get familiar with programs in the Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada, that may service these individuals. Provide me with examples when bidding. You will find it helpful to obtain a copy of Colleen Lundy’s text book ‘ Social Work, Social Justice, & Human Rights’. Also, visit spon.ca and university databases for helpful scholerly articles.
Working in groups of 2, this 10 page paper will consider a specific population and a contemporary practice problem together, exploring some of the practice implications at micro, meso, and macro levels. For each section of the paper, students will make reference to specific theories, models, ideologies, and/or policies that shape professional intervention. For example, you may select women as a population and violence as your field of practice. Your paper will then explore practice dynamics related to violence against women (or violence perpetrated by women?) in work with individuals, in relation to organizational planning and program development, and at a structural level. Each section of the paper will be supported by research evidence from course readings, media reports, journal articles, and/or relevant organizational literature. It is anticipated that students will incorporate a minimum of 5 secondary sources, in addition to relevant course readings in preparing this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and the dictionary do not qualify as relevant secondary sources
• All submitted work should be double-spaced, with 1” margins, using Times New Roman, 12 pt. font.
• Assignments should consistently follow APA format.
• All course assignments need to include a separate References page that fully references all sources, including course readings, which inform the work being presented. If you do not know how to prepare a references page (including how to reference electronic sources) then it is your responsibility to learn how.
