INTRODUCTION
This paper will examine e-commerce shopping cart technology. Online shopping is an important part of E- business systems. COM component technology enhances the safety and efficiency of online shopping cart systems. This paper will study e-commerce, and how to build a highly-efficienct, high-performance, reusable system. Significant progress in network communication technology and computing machine hardware technology not only supports the development of e-commerce applications but also greatly enhances the size and complexity of large-scale distributed business software systems. Enterprise-class e-commerce system construction technology faces new challenges. People are eager to build enterprise-class e-commerce systems that have high-performance, high efficiency, easily of deployable, easily of maintainable and highly reliable advantages. These systems should have the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and to support the expansion transplantation, and reuse of systems. COM component technology is a way to develop software components (Bain, & Subirana, 2003).
Components are small binary executable program. They can provide services to applications, operating systems, and other components to cross link libraries, applications, system software, and even network software, multiple COM objects can even join together to form another application or a component system. These components are highly desirable among development staff. The use of this technology to develop custom COM components, like the development of a dynamic, object-oriented API, can easily develop a large and complex application by rsing as many existing resources a as possible to construct their own applications.
