Reflection
Over the past seven weeks, you have explored the
relationship among technology, society, and the individual through a number of
important lenses. You have looked at the nature of technology and how it is
socially constructed and has an influence on social and cultural practices. You
have also explored how technology informs our thinking about topics such as
gender, class, health, and what it means to be human.
In this final discussion, look back on your experiences in
the course and post a 2- to 3-paragraph reflection on the following questions:
Did your learning in this course change how you see
technology? If so, how? If not, why not?
What topic or module did you find most interesting or
engaging? Why? What topic or module did you find most challenging? Why was it
