The MAIS program allows students to design their own program of study across various areas of intellectual inquiry in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Using an essay format, please provide us with a statement of your interests and how you see yourself working and studying in the MAIS program.
You are required to submit an intellectual biography of no more than 2000 words (approximately three to four pages double spaced). The scholarliness of your response will be evaluated during the application review process. Grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity of writing, and organization of the essay will be considered.
