Hi Class,
Marketing leaders need to think strategically and challenge the status quo, using their unique external vantage point to see what may not be apparent to others in the business.
Sometimes this entails moving beyond preaching about marketing’s merits to imagining scenarios that business heads might face—perhaps marketing’s most important role. Leaders must be willing to push change.
But the hard truth is that any affection for change agents dissolves when people don’t like what’s being proposed.

“We need not just a new generation of leadership but a new gender of leadership” (“Clinton pledges fidelity,” 1992, p. A2).
I agree with Bill Clinton’s statement because he was supporting equality in the way top leadership posts are distributed. For years, gender stereotypes have affected the way leadership is being viewed. Leadership has been viewed in the past that males are better leaders than females. This can be seen in the Fortune 500 companies where women hold only about 15% of the corporate officer positions and only 3% when it comes to CEO…
