The Final Portfolio
EPP 110 – Spring 2013

The final portfolio is designed to show what you have accomplished during your semester in English 110. The portfolio is made up of the following:

1. A 2-3 page self-reflection essay (50 points). As the name suggests, this is where you discuss your progress as a writer and a user of the English language. Think about the following questions:
What did you struggle with when writing your original papers? What did you struggle with when revising? Did this change over the semester?
How did you grow as a writer this semester? Are you more comfortable writing in English than at the beginning of the semester? What challenges have you overcome, and what challenges do you still face? What mistakes have you stopped making, and what kind of mistakes do you still make?
Look at your past assignment—this is a great way to see how your writing has progressed from the beginning to the end of the semester. Use your End of Semester Reflection for help as well.

Your portfolio needs to adhere to the standards we have set for this class: Times New Roman font, size 12; 1-inch margins; double-spaced lines; page numbers and your last name in the header or footer of each page.

Your portfolios should be placed into a folder or a large envelope––you cannot…
